Okay, for those of you were in on the discussion about rules. Found this out regarding fully refundable fares but preferred to post here instead of the main thread. Just FYI but now the gray line is this, is the ticket used once you get your boarding pass issued, pass security, or board the plane?!?

AA offers H class as fully refundable tickets LAS-LAX for $295 roundtrip with taxes. Flights are already full on any given Sunday out of Vegas.

"FULL REFUND WILL BE MADE FOR WHOLLY UNUSED TICKETS. FOR PARTIALLY USED TICKETS/ THE REFUND WILL BE THE AMT PAID MINUS THE NORMAL ONE WAY FARE APPLICABLE TO THE TRANSPORTATION USED"

Well as I bought a ticket, got a boarding pass, went thru security and then " had my meeting cancelled" , called ( while still in the security area) and had my credit card credited - I vote for board the plane
