Hello everyone!

Good morning/afternoon/evening, depending on where in the world you may be reading this.

I just wanted to introduce myself to you as a new poster to these boards. My name is Nicola, and I work as a Police Officer in London. One of my regular beats is Heathrow, and my husband also works at Heathrow. I was directed to this site by a very good friend of my husband, who also works at Heathrow, and has been posting here for a year or so. He told me that as a whole you guys are friendly, and would welcome a newcomer with open arms. You certainly seem pretty friendly from some of the pics I have seen whilst lurking!

Travel has been a huge passion of mine for a few years now, and I spend most of my vacation time in the US, taking in some of your incredible highways, and generally letting my hair down. I am AA gold and Hilton Diamond, and would like very much to partake in a run or three to try and accumulate some miles, and also move up the AA ladder. The SIN runs seem a blast, and I would love to give one of those a try, maybe later in the year if one occurs.

Anyhow, that is me. Look forward to talking with you all in the future, and maybe spotting some of your bright yellow tags in Heathrow!

I always hoped I wouldn't run into any of the police at LHR but I guess I can make an exception http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Welcome to FT, before you know it you'll be addicted!

And yes, keep your eyes open for the yellow tags, mine pass through T4 almost every week...

Welcome to Flyertalk. We will be looking for you at LHR.

Be very very careful. This hobby of miles can be very addictive.

Bikergirl,
I am also new to these boards. I have found the people here to be very helpful. I just became AA gold because of this site. I flew to Hawaii and back in coach and poof, I'm gold. I am already addicted and can't keep my eyes off the newest and latest postings. I would love to visit your country one day, but alas, right now Hawaii has a firm grip on me.

Welcome to FT.
