December 17, 2003 will mark the 100th Anniversary of Wilbur and Orville's first flight. I realize this is over 14 months away but I thought I would throw out the idea of a get together (fondly knbown as a "Doo") that involves many of us booking a flight on the same plane. Whatever....it's just an idea. Discuss amongnst yourselves!

Cluebyfour and I have twice discussed a FT Party on North Carolina's Outer Banks, near the birthplace of flight...of course, it's a little chilly there in December...

If anyone is thinking about becoming a pilot now would be a good time. Then you can tell your grandkids that you were a pilot during the first century of human aviation http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
