Spring weekend in San Diego: 03/15 - 03/17

Due to the Hilton $0 glitch, a nice bunch of FlyerTalkers thought about partying in San Diego that particular weekend...
I would like to take the opportunity to make this open to any FlyerTalker who would love to come to San Diego that weekend... maybe we could agree on some common location for dinner and/or drinks...

Hi rcs85551 ! I see you're coming back to town! Alas I won't be in San Diego that weekend. But the weather is still great!

I expect to be in SAN that weekend, barring unexpected biz travel. I'm always up for dinner with FTers.

That weekend is free and clear for me, too, and I would love to have dinner with FT'ers. I can also help with shuttle service, since I'm local.

We may want to steer clear of Sunday night, since I think it's St. Patrick's Day, which makes for poor service and food quality at many restaurants.

In a jealous voice eastwest asks, "When is the weather not great in San Diego?"

Hmmm... we are still holding the tickets I got last summer for the gathering in SD, and then couldn't make it. I was thinking of using them to pop out to SD in the next couple of weeks, but maybe I'll hold off, and see if I can get seats for the March weekend - right now it's free.

I was there last year, met a great guy, tvl4free, and some others. Memorable!

SAN is my home, so I'll be there!

No plans at present for St. Pat's. I think SD may be the place to pop down to to party!

actually... funny you should say that...

This weekend, it hailed and snowed in places throughout southern california.

I was in warm, sunny, NJ where it was a balmy 70 degrees and unseasonably pleasant.

I kid you not.
