Very sorry to report that my good cousin (from my mom's side of the family in Wyoming) Paul Mefford, who was a bartender at Rei Do Gado, was shot and killed this past weekend in a senseless killing (what other kind are there) at Mission Beach.
He was a great kid, attending college in San Diego and studying graphic arts. What a future he had ahead of him.

We had read of the killing in the local papers, and had already discussed what a senseless killing it was - over a bicycle - of a young man who sounded terrific. Our sadness about the murder has been deepened by learning of his relationship to you, PremEx. Our sincere condolences to the family.
