Am I a Loser?
 

While my family naps on a lazy Saturday afternoon I'm just sitting here listening to NPR, drinking a glass of cheap wine, and reading FT. A few years ago I would have berated myself. But, ahhh, life is good.... *sips cheap wine*

Cheers, Dudemon! I'm sipping a glass of red Bordeaux ... though it is a bit later here.

I'm working at the office and drinking Deer Park Spring Water.

Having serviced my drip oil heater, ordered some new headphones over the internet and had a quick peek at FT, I'm about to walk down to the Golden Eagle Saloon in -38 degree weather for some serious drinking. Maybe one of Gene's mildly hallucinogenic Bloody Marys followed by a few $2.00 Molsons. I also have NPR on, Mountain Stage being one of my all time favorite programs!

What's NPR? C'mon, Dudemon, drinking cheap wine and reading FT in the afternoon does not make one a *Loser*. You're going to have to come up with better criteria than that!

Uh, you're not drinking Mad Dog, Night Train, or Thunderbird, are you?

NPR is National Public Radio. I have listened to them on occasion.

Drinking a moderately priced Chardonnay while I listen to archives of the Phil Hendrie Radio Show (www.philhendrieshow.com) and catch up on FT. What a nice way (Phil is hilarious and FT is informative) to wind down!

Drinking a glass of hot premium port after a nice day at the beach where water was 74 and air 83.

Here I am eating a bowl of Cheerios ... what does that make me? Next it will be a cup or two of tea then off to church. I usually spend my evening FT time drinking a glass or two of wine and listening to music.

Dudemon, not a loser at all... Maybe I take the cake for that, when you posted, I was on a mileage run to FLL, in FC no less, drinking my "cheap" Baileys on the rocks. But when I got back, guess what web site I logged onto first! LOL

Since my last post I managed to go through Kahlua with milk, Cinnamon Aftershock liqour, some lite beer and more hot port with cinnamon and cloves. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
