Thank YOU

I would like to thank everyone that attended the Party in the Windy City. You all made it a success. A special thanks goes out to those of you that 'captained' events (Cubs games, Big Bowl Dinner, Chicago River Architecture Boat Tour, Lunch at Heaven on Seven, Cheesecake Factory lunch, Chocolate Tasting, and The Big Bar). If I forgot to mention an event, sorry.

This thank you is a bit belated because I have spent the last week fighting bronchitis and all the stuff that piled up on my desk prior to the Party.

Also, thanks to Randy for the neat gifts to give away at the dinner.

Well Comicwoman, thank you, it was a great weekend! I hope you are feeling better now.

I would like to echo Comicwoman's thanks to all that attended. We may have set the stage, but you all made it a party! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/cool.gif

I too wish say thanks much for organizing this my first FT event. It turned out great and even my wife (who was worried we would spend all the time tallking miles) said " they're a fun group " which I suppose is permission for me attend mnay more events.

Glad also that it allowed me to spend some time in Chicago, which I found( must say surprisingly) to be a great city and only regret that I had not visted (except ORD)before.

MIKE's thoughts are exactly the same as mine. My husband had a good time and will be willing to go again. He is more understanding of the time I spend on FT now.

And for a first trip to Chicago what a fabulous city you have! We just loved it. Your weather is crazy: melting on SAT and chilly on SUN.

Thanks to the ORD planners: you did a terrific job!
