The RSVP list is NOT closed. Heck, (did I write 'heck'?) we haven't even asked for payment yet. The Catering saleperson was supposed to fax me some cost estimates. Still waiting for those. I'll have to chase her down early next week.

I left a message with the catering staffer's mom. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Her mom said she was meeting with a client, but I suspect she is at cheerleader practice. Or drivers ed class.

Ok, I got the fax and now am just confirming the facts. (Corrected an error or two made on their first contract.) I sent off details to my co-conspirators.

As for a strippers table, I called Mayor Daley's office and he is unable to attend. Oprah's people said that they would get back to my people (I have no people). And Jerry Springer said he would send strippers if we promised that there would be a fight and he could use it on his 'talk' show. I declined.
(Sorry to my non-US friends who may not understand all the local references.)

And pay Springer with a check like he did for a hooker.
