SEPT 11, 2001

Im starting this here, since it relates to FT Community..
I have traveled many many many times, and never even considered it to be a risk. Except one in a million chance that the plane has a MX problem. I always made conversation with FA's on board and give them my thanks for putting up with the PAX and so on. Today I closed on a new house that was recently owned by a guy that worked for NWA for more than 20 years. He called it downsizing.
I never knew of Flyertalk till I got the email from BizTravel and well after spending almost 3 months reading and putting my 2 cents in various spots. IM so ever grateful for the people on this board. It brings me down knowing that perhaps some FT members were victims of 9-11, maybe they had family or friends. Those that are victims you know who you are, and all I can say is that person is in a better place now, and to remember all the good things! I havent seen anything giving a moment of respect and love to those FT's that may have been a victim to 9-11. As it may have been the last boarding pass, the last hotel stay, the last time you turned off the cell phone, the last time you saw the lav, the last time you got hit by a cart, the last tear that was shed.

With the love of AMERICA and our inner strengths which allows to move forward until one day we are selves will be in our final resting place.

With the holiday season upon us, its not all about giving gifts, but giving thanks.
