Yes indeed, we're back up again.
Thanks so very much! Rough morning! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif Thanks again! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
Is it my imagination or does the system seem more fragile of late ?

Come and think of it, this is the only downtime we had for a long time. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Thanks! again doc has beaten us for posting this http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |
Yeah.... I thought I was having network problems..... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif
|
I never know if its me as in my computer or network or if FT is down
|
I think all the irate-n-enhanced guys over at the NonePass(tm) are causing the problem.
MisterNice |
Not being able to get to FT last night was like having a severe case of caffine or nicotine withdrawal. Painful!!! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Thought it was my computer. bj-21. |
Did anyone notice that Sheryl's Priceline Forum was down at the same time? An interesting Coincidence.

I actually had to get some 'real work' done while FT was down. What a drag it was.

You know what they say:
A clean house is the sign of a broken computer................ ..............or FT is down (at least that is what they say around here) |
I actually did some work this morning..
|
Up again! Hurrah!!! Thanks! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
|
I think I owe Randy and co so money, thanks to them I finally got some work done this evening http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

My most productive day in weeks! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif
|
whew! I was twitching!
|
Nobody ever posts a thread called "We're down".
|
And I thought it was my setup here, so I was dinking with things all day long trying to figure it out, after I think I nearly srewed up all my settings on all my network devices, and rebuilt my DNS tables, it's good to know it wasn't me http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
|
Am I wrong, or was this the longest time that FT has been down?
Pheew, all day on Saturday till a short time ago. What happened? Almost felt like being constipated. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif How do you spell relief: F-L-Y-E-R-T-A-L-K http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif bj-21. It was a tough weekend without f.talk.First I dialed 911 then I took 2 aspirin.
The good news is I too got a lot of work done. I felt like I almost had a real life again...... No mileage earning tips arrrggghhhh!!!!!! The pain |
Pinging Flyertalk's address returned a response during the outage. It seems that ever since the server was moved to Viawest that outages are more common. It would be nice if during outages there was a redirection to a webpage that indicated the outage reason. The 22nd outage was caused by UPS failure and a datacenter connectivity loss.

The good news is that I immediately accessed Omni this morning.
|
|
I felt the same way. After reading these boards it has now become a "part of life" that is oh so nice.
|
hey guys, if we are going to get ultra-negative, i have to insist that we move this whole thread to the Continental Airlines (CO) board.

"Folks, we have something rare and good going on here. Let's try and keep it that way." FWIW, IMHO, from my limited sense of what has lead to a possibly decreasing level of participation of "prominent" FT'ers of the past, it has been the increasing flames, bitterness and acrimony that causes it. As I'd noted previously, politely offering a few suggestions to consider prior to criticizing other FT'ers: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum73/HTML/000338.html |
Anyone know what happened to OMNI and Only Randy Petersen? They seem to be missing in action.
Thanks, William |
