Get Well Dinner with Catman
 

To tell the truth, we had been planning this for the last two weeks but Catman and I are hooking up for dinner on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00ish "somewhere" in midtown Manhattan. We are still working out the details but would welcome all FTers in the area to join us. We'll update the thread as soon as we decide on a time and place. If in town, why not drop by?

Survivor is any FlyerTalker that makes the Sunday brunch after the Saturday FT dinner.

I would have loved to meet the famous Catman again, if only to wish him a speedy recovery. Unfortunately, Thursday is out. So the rest of you will have to do it for me!

Just remember, alcohol kills all germs.

As has been the case with every NY get together since this summer's dinner at Spark's, I will be out of town on the 13th and unable to toast Catman's return to health. I hope everyone has a great time and am looking forward to next time.

Rich, The first trimester has ended and you missed quite a graduation party in early November. Enrollment for the second trimester is still open but I must receive your application by this weekend, when initiation ceremonies will be held. In case you are still undecided, here is the tentative syllabus:

- Whining and Kvetching 101 (With prior experience, you may entitled to upgrade to Whinging 151. Double upgrades are not permitted under any circumstances).

- Breakfast 101 (also offered as Hilton 151)

- Remedial People skills 101 (student attempts, and fails, to teach instructor)

- Music Appreciation 151 (Lab. At minimum, you will be expected to learn the new official coach theme song:

- Economics 251 (By now, many people are familiar with the concept of CRM, Customer Relationship Management. In this course, we will outline the newly emerging field of CEM, Customer Elimination Management. Also offered via code share as UA 2999)

- Dermatology 351 (How to get under people’s skin. Successful completion of Remedial People skills 101 is a Prerequisite.)

All classes at Larry University are open to all customers except for employee class. This is mostly due to the fact the instructor has no class. Successful completion of the full course load will not entitle you to a degree but you will be well on your way to obtaining VIP (Very Irritating Passenger) status on a variety of carriers. You may earn brownie points but not miles.

The fee schedule is still under review but pleased be forewarned that fares are non refundable and cancellation penalties apply.
