Finally made it home last night. Was inching my way back to the West since Tuesday. Quite shaken still. Will report on my post-tragedy flying experience tomorrow. God bless all.

After driving from PA to Chicago yesterday, arrived safely back in SF. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims. God bless America.

Safe but stuck in AMS. Got here from LYS on Thursday and have been promised NW61 to JFK for Monday after being told that I would not be able to get out for a week. This may be a repeat of some of the prior posts, but KLM was not carrying passengers to AMS on Thursday who did not have hotel reservations.
Supposedly, all the hotels were fully booked and they did not want anybody sleeping on the floor at Schiphol. There were however, plenty of rooms because most of the Americans did not show up to claim their reservations.
There are many tears and uncertainties about our friends and associates in New York. We desparately need to get home.

Safe in the fields of Iowa
Contemplating about what to do with my 2 mileage runs in Oct. I don't want my life or plans to be changed by someone elses disturbed views on life and senseless actions. I want to support United Air Lines.

OK in Beertown, but cancelled trip to PHX Sat 9/15. My son in NY knew several people who worked at WTC, as he did years ago.
