Never left the homestead here in BOS. Thank God, seeing that BOS was not a safe place to be departing from today.

I am here in Northern NJ on business. Saw everything from my window that overlooks NYC.

Very scary....

How I'll get home and when I have no idea...

God bless everyone...

Fine, but I have many friends who work in the Towers!

I remain as hopeful and optimistic as possible.

Safe and sound at home in Calgary.

Words cannot express the dismay, sorrow and outrage.

Everything's fine in Oakland.

I've taken the UA flight from Newark to SFO a dozen times this year. Very disturbing.

Prayers go to the many, many families that were affected by this horrible tragedy this morning.

Our history was forever changed today. Flying may never again be the same. At least for a very long time.

Safe and received notice to evacuate all buildings now (we are contractors not lodged in the main building). Still trying to figure if I should walk home considering traffice and Metro problems.

I Was supposed to be on a Project at 130 Liberty Street starting this morning but it got postponed yesterday. For those of you dont know, it is about 150 feet from the 2 towers. I am safe here in Atlanta. Girlfriend is in Midtown NY.

My thoughts and Prayers to all...

We heard that Burkey is safe.

NJDavid, who began a Mileage Run this morning out of EWR is safe but stranded in MIA.

Also heard from Beckles, AusTXHiker, Kokonutz and AnnaS.

OK in FLL.

Flew on CO redeye into EWR yesterday morning, after the FA woke me up to raise the seatback, looked out the window and saw the familiar sight of the twin towers.

Hard to believe what has happened, especially the loss of innocent lives .....

Well, I picked a bad day for a mileage run.

I arrived safely from 7:00am EWR-MIA flight on time, to an airport so empty you could hear a pin drop.

No one gave us any indication during the flight that anything was wrong, but when we landed, the captain said to proceed to the luggage carousel and apologized that no one woulf be at the gate to assist us.

My apologies to my LA friends, who I will not be seeing tonight after all.

If the airlines start flying again tomorrow, would you go to be bcak home with your Wife and Kids? (Or should I be renting a car to drive to Newark)?
