Safe, sad, but happy that my daughter is between jobs this week and is safe out on the island and had not gone into the city today.

I am fine and at home in N.j.
saw the fire and the collapse from the roof of my building at work.

I'm stuck here in Warsaw. Not sure when I can get out. I just want to go home http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

My wife and I arrived in PVD at 11:30pm last night safe and sound and a few minutes early.

It seems a little ironic as we uneventfully exited that plane. Little did we know why it was about to be parked at that gate for who knows how long.

I am here but quite sad.

I'm safe at home in the Raleigh area. My wife is safely stranded in a hotel in Charlotte (on the way to Grand Cayman for a dive trip).

Under my rock.

I am safe but saddened at home in the PDX suburbs. As I stare out at the clear planeless skies over the Willamette valley, my TV continues to blare increasingly shocking news of yet another senseless tragedy, of a magnitude I have never before experienced. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif I know many people who worked at the WTC and the surrounding area but have not yet ascertained their fate. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

As things stand now, I am currently scheduled to fly to JFK next Wednesday.

Safe near RDU. A colleague who had traveled to New York yesterday and was in lower Manhattan this morning has reported in.

Home safely from work, still in a bit of shock. My lovely view out of my apartment windows forever gone...

Here. Mom almost wasn't (no danger, but she considered postponing her return home due to illness--if she had, she'd be stranded in Houston).

Safe and sound and busy in Boston, as my company has now evacuated personnel to our DR site to prepare for operations away from downtown Boston.

This disaster hits especially close to home because both aircrafts that hit NYC came from Boston, and AA 11 is actually a flight I take when I go to LA.

There but for the grace of god....
