What amazing memories this thread brings back!
Many years ago Joe and I were in downtown Seattle and decided to go to the movies one Sunday morning after Mass.
We ended up, almost all alone in the theater where we first met "Daisy" and Woody. We laughed so hard our sides hurt for days. I wonder how many of you weren't even old enough to see that movie at that time.

Happy to report that Daisy has been presented to me (looking a little worse for wear after DUS) by Scott the flier here at LAX. Enjoyed a Sam Adams with Scott before he had to head out on his Shuttle flight, so now it's just Daisy and me here at the Red Carpet Club.

Daisy! If you need me to rescue you from that man, please let me know. Catman can give me his UA miles and I'll save you.
Then Yaz and Eddie can care for you.
You poor thing. Although Scott the Flyer and that Sheep person do have good taste in beer.

And now for those FT-ers who desire the real genuine article, but cannot presently afford the real time-proven wool-covered wonder, you can now ADOPT-A-SHEEP:

Thank you, Comicwoman.
I wasn't too far off target with my guess that Daisy was either an animal or an inflatable doll; sounds like she's been considered as both.
I'm also sort of thankful that I don't have to head into Chat for my mano-a-mano with PremEx.

Thanks comicwoman for bringing this great thread forward!
I really hate to darken it a bit, but as I was re-reading it laughing myself silly, I came across Scott the Flyer's post about half way down page one, where he mentions bringing Daisy to me aboard United Flight 175 from Boston to LAX.
Let me tell you, I went from laughing to a sharp shiver and goose bumps in about one second.
