Who are some of the most frequent FlyerTalk posters who aren't currently active? Why did they leave? What can we do to coax them back?
|
All of us without a Registered Date, are the ones who were around from the begining.
|
Many of those oldtimers are gone...but not forgotten.
I'm sorry to say that they'll never come back. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif But on the bright side, we have so many new flyertalkers since Jan 1 2001 (or 1 Jan for non-US flyertalkers!) And as we became productive members of this community, so will all the new folks. Note to Randy, keep up the good work boss. Dan |
As long as we remember them, they will live on in our minds... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

A person can return to the place, but not the time! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
We'll never find that recipe again. |
There's one FlyerTalker we won't forget, he first posted on this board less then a year ago from today.
He went out in a blaze of glory, having achieved over 7,000 posts, taking a few respected members of this community with him. |
In addition there are also FTers who will never post again as they took their last flight. rip
|
Right you are, magic111. They will be missed.

QuietLion posted on May 25 2001 in the Starwood forum. There may even be more recent postings - I did not do an exhaustive search.

I remember them all from my kindergarten days here at FlyerTalk. I wonder how many still lurk?

Indeed there have been "banishments" issued - more than one - after earlier warnings went unheeded. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif
Yet Randy has never officially disclosed any names. More importantly, he specifically asked that these folks NOT be named as it is not to be a topic for posting and discussion as I clearly recall! So I have nothing more to say regarding this matter! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
Well said Doc!
I find whole board a little quiet at the moment... |
Originally posted by ScottC: I find whole board a little quiet at the moment... SSSHHHHH! If you listen very carefully... ...we are all talking travel. It's kind of nice, eh? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif |
Forget quiet - it's over. Today they just let Boomer out of Bellevue (see the CO board).
