Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't believe there's any limit on how many click rewards miles one can transfer to United or American. If you have a million clickrewards (whew!) why can't you become an instant AA million miler?

Additionally, if you go to their home page at www.clickrewards.com , there are lots of opportunities for redemption, including (today) 16 cruises and 80 land vacations at 40K clickrewards miles each.

I too am a little confused by your query, jrahn31998. Could you re-state? If it's a question of which of the three programs you might want to put the miles in case you won the one million miles, then i think you'll find a lot of great opinions here, though I'm sure some will point out why would you want to limit your choices to just those three since many other airlines and even hotel programs are in ClickRewards? So, with a little more info we'll all try to help. Though I warn you - we'll all be jealous of your million-mile payday.

1 Million AAdvantage miles would provide instant lifetime status, though what level, AA fliers?

Of course by going through Starwood your 1 M becomes 1.25 M to any of their airline partners including BA, AA, UA and about a dozen others! as well as being usable for Starwood nights.

wormwood: Although my clickrewards account has a pitiful lack of zeros, I am curious about the Starwood routing of clickreward points to AA (or elsewhere). Can such be done at more "modest" levels?

Starwood will convert 20,000 Starpoints into 25,000 airline miles into any of the programs they partner with.

Million Miler status on AA becomes lifetime Gold.
