The "falling waters" got the best of Falling Waters this weekend. Had a great time with everyone in spite of the weather.

Those of you here tomorrow might get to experience "The Bathtub" where the freeway is closed as water from the river that runs along it covers it - predicted to happen tomorrow afternoon as the river rises.

The organizers did a great job of hitting highlights in PIT. Thank you!

Headed to the airport soon. If anyone needs lounge access to AA, I should be there from 1 to 2:45 today. Jackal can give you my phone number - call or text me.

Had a fun weekend everybody! Sitting at the LGA Centurion Lounge right now with a long-ish layover back to Houston having surprisingly cleared the upgrade to F for the short hop from PIT-LGA. Special thanks to jackal for indulging the mini brewery tour in the rain yesterday afternoon. Also worth noting the Hyatt Place PIT Airport is a good place for one night and a deal at only 5k Hyatt points per night.

Hopefully see a couple of you in FAI at the end of the month as long as my schedule remains free!

I am just going to point out that Sunday was literally the 2nd most wet day in recorded history in Pittsburgh according to the NWS.

Many thanks to all who made my first do a fun weekend. Really enjoyed the jackal reality tour of the Strip District and the davetravels mini reality tour of Oakland, Squirrel Hill, and Homestead. Next time I’ll hit the Costcos with beckoa. Still enjoying the smoked kielbasa!

So those of us that went to the Pirates game, you remember that drawing that you could enter when we walked in the stadium for some prize?

Well I just got a call today that I won the drawing for a 4 day/3 night trip to either Vegas or Orlando for me and a +1 Now to figure out how to claim it since I'm not local...

Edit: now that I am doing some more research on this company is seems like it's not as good of a deal as it sounds. This is a post about the same company https://www.smartertravel.com/free-trip-good-true/

I wish they would call me. I use the robots at Jolly Roger Telephone Co. to keep them busy and therefore cost them money.
