Count me in. I like the Chicago / Brewers choice but I can also go to other parks.

The June Chicago/Milwaukee dates look best for me, and offer two of the more interesting cities (including beer in Milwaukee) to catch games at.

Ok, now I'm a bit confused.

As Part of the "Classic Ballpark weekend" we are going to one ballpark on one weekend day and another on another, right?

That's fun! It will make for a nice mini mileage run! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks for your help!

My understanding is that we may have three or four of these weekends, maybe one per month. Some folks will be able to go on all of them, others like me maybe only one or two.

Some would involve multiple flights to see all the games, while others like Chicago/Milwaukee wouldn't.

I'm more than willing to take the lead on Chicago/Milwaukee, as long as I have a helper who doesn't have to live in Chicago but is really good about dates (something I'm terrible about) and will get me to call the box office on the appropriate morning(s).

I'll be more than happy to take the lead on the Houston-Texas weekend, if there is significant interest (glad to have help, if JAWS or any of our other Texas buddies want to help).

Also, the other weekends from my post above were just suggestions. If anyone from one of the other cities wants to take the lead and suggest a weekend in their area, please step up (Hint, Hint Jon Toner).

The Indians just announced 2001 tickets will go on sale thru Ticketmaster on Feb 3. From past experience, I figure the only sections that will have more than four seats together will be in nosebleed country far down the left- and rightfield sides, and in straightaway centerfield (upper reserved). I think we can forget the bleachers--those sell out fastest...

Anything new on this by chance?

I've still got the weekend of June 15th booked at the Park Hyatt in Chicago and I think AuH20 does too. I sure hope we are going to have a flyertalk ballpark weekend.
