Detroit , 8/7-12

I'll be In Detroit in this period , I'll stay at the Fairfield Inn in Farmington Hills.
any suggestions on places to eat,see,shop?

Have heard the new Indian Casino in downtown Detoit is suppose to be a good place to visit. Forgot the name of the big fancy new hotel there.
Some people go to Windsor Ontario, canada for an money saving meal. Just a short trip under or over the Detroit river
