Welcome to a First Poster. Sure you don't shares in this pezzy.com as you have posted it all over the place?!

Read these boards and you'll find out a LOT more than these guys offer methinks!
Go to the airline board for which airline you fly on and research the past month or so of postings. For FREE! And/or sign up with Randy, whose boards you appear to be advertising on. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

ozstamps...

i too feel a little 'awkward' about this post....

looks like "someone" has maybe just assembled info from FT and other sources and are trying to sell it....

if so, shame on them.

I posted this post in several places. I happened to come upon flyertalk just as easy as I came about pezzy. I'm a mother of three in Texas, and pezzy appears to come out of New Jersey. I was trying to find out if anyone had heard of the site before; I was not trying to advertise for this company. I guess new posters aren't welcome at flyertalk. I was trying to get some useful information, but all I got was abuse. Good bye. Mary Ann http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

MaryAnn, on behalf of the board, I appologize to you. This is normally a very welcoming place but we have had some problems latelyl involving multiple posts and I think we are being overly sensitive.

Please come back take another look at FlyerTalk. I think you'll find it's a pretty wonderful place.

pitythismom Jul 17, 2000 11:05 am

I'm Mary Ann's best friend.

We live here in the trailer park together.

How dare all of you bad, bad people make her go away!

WHAT KIND OF A PLACE IS FLYERTALK THAT ALLOWS THIS KIND OF TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE ABUSE TO PEOPLE THAT POST MULTIPLE MESSAGES IN MULTIPLE FORUMS WITHOUT EVEN BOTHERING TO READ FOR A WHILE TO AVOID LOOKING FOOLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MY 17 KIDS AND I ARE BESIDES OURSELVES WITH ANGER OVER THIS http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif

Don't come down here to the trailer park, or my kids will beat youse up. bad.

(hey pretty good for a first post, huh? Now, off to copy this into the other forums.)

FewMiles Jul 17, 2000 11:14 am

inmyauction: I too owe you an apology. Punki has put it very well: normally FT is a very welcoming board, but recent problems with trolls have made us extremely (perhaps overly) sensitive to happenings like multiple postings from a first-time user that seem to be plugging a website which is selling "secrets". Why don't you take a look around FT? You will find many tips and a great deal of useful information, all categorized by airline, alliance, or more general categories. Nobody is selling any "secrets" here. It's all free info and advice from expert frequent flyers.

Now as for your friend pitythismom, that is certainly not making a good impression for a first post.

FewMiles..

pitythismom Jul 17, 2000 11:23 am

By the way, does anyone have any extra miles or deep secrets that they are willing to share?

Just post your phone-number here (and a credit card number for verification that it's you) and I'll call. Really. Trust me.

I've doubled my posts in the first 10 minutes!!!!!

I didn't know you're only allowed 8 faces per post. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/mad.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif

I'll spread them out to seem like more.

I do have to thank you for your support.
Who is pitythismom?
I was just trying to find some information out, not on an advertising crusade.
I'll stick around flyertalk. Thanks guys.

Mary Ann!

It's me, Bubbabreath!

Ok, If you're back, I'm leaving..

If we keep commenting to each other, the Pezzy topic stays on top!!

(Are they giving you a buck a click too?)

I wonder if "pitythismom" and "Mrs. Pfp" are related! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/eek.gif

No. The Pfp have an army of "PfP" named multiple identities - but also without email addresses, so who knows? I suspect this might be California_Jon/Mileage Moron still lurking. Ignore them please.

Pitythismom you make me sooooooo mad!!!! (would have used a frowning face but am just a LITTLE emoticonned out.) How dare you denigrate white trash! You're trampling my delicate sensibilities. Now c'mon over here punkin and let's make nice. I'll hep ya rearrange the furniture on ya porch then we can go over to Mary Ann's and put some sponge curlers in her hair. You know the rule in Texas: a woman's hairdo's gotta be bigger than her butt.

And by the way Sugar, you hain't gots to be so modest; you're not poor white trash you're Southern White Trash (the word poor then becomes redundant) And don't forget to brush yer tooth!

I would be interested in where inmyauction's IP address traces back too.

I don't believe I or others are being unduly harsh on newbies...if their first 5 posts where questions/discussions about travel I would very positive. When the first posts can be construed as spam....well I'm just skeptical.

RKG Jul 18, 2000 9:33 am

I agree with Dorian completely.

Punki Jul 18, 2000 12:02 pm

Hey folks, I know we have had some unscrupulous characters show up on the boards as of late, but let's not let them warp our minds.

I suggest we all try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and assume they are innocent until proven guilty. I have spoken privately with inmyauction and she seems to be a lovely lady. Hopefully she will not be driven off by our suspicious minds.

If we all try to put the best possible interpretation on every post, rather than the worst, this will be a lot better place. One of the reasons I most enjoy FT is because if affords me an opportunity to meet lots of different folks, with different backgrounds, from different cultures. Let's face it, if we are different, we are different, and we are going to have to be tolerant of those differences. God knows we cliquey old timers are about as diverse a bunch of folks as he ever created. That's what makes us special.

Chill out, drink good wine, and dance a lot. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

"If we all try to put the best possible interpretation on every post, rather than the worst, this will be a lot better place"

Absolutely concur with Punki here! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

-Mark/"doc"
a NEVER have been & NEVER will be "cliquey old timer"

But I have been, and still am a "former VICTIM!" http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

FT is to be ENJOYED by ALL! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

kokonutz Jul 18, 2000 1:25 pm

Sorry, Doc, old friend. According to the date stamp on the left, you registered a full six months before I did and with nearly TEN times as many posts as me, well from my perspective that pretty much makes you a

"cliquey old timer"

Punki Jul 18, 2000 4:22 pm

Yup! Much as I hate to have to agree with a boy who wears a grass skirt and drops his top in public, it seems to me like doc's become a cliquey old timer as well.

Soon or later it happens to the best of 'em. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Dorian Jul 19, 2000 2:47 am

Punki,

I like to give the benefit of the doubt in life...even after being burned by doing it...BUT, after the last few weeks (could it be months????) I stand by my post above. If a newbie comes on and asks travel questions or posts useful information then great. If they post in multiple forums what could be construed as spam...well no time for that.

Eugene Jul 19, 2000 9:05 am

Dear Dorian:

Don't you think that your statement that you have "no time for that" kinda contradicts the fact that you have already taken the time to comment on this awkward post on three separate occasions? Just let it go!

Let's all relax and enjoy this great Board.

I agree with Punki - "If we all try to put the best possible interpretation on every post, rather than the worst, this will be a lot better place".

Dorian Jul 19, 2000 9:10 am

Eugene,

Interesting observation.....but.....no.

Dorian

p.s. I am extremely relaxed. Played Monopoly for the past 2 hours...had some beers...now going swimming. (Thanks though for the thoughts)

Jon Toner Jul 19, 2000 10:45 am

Doc:

Welcome to the Dark Side. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

(Although I don't know if I'M a cliquey old timer, having never been to a get-together. But I've met some folks face-to-face. Does that count???)

I see no contradiction there at all:
no time to deal with A doesn't necessarily have anything to do with dealing with B.

doc Jul 19, 2000 7:15 pm

Mr Koko (aka GrassSkirt/Matt Wald) & Punki - Thanks very much. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif The emphasis, however, was on CLIQUEY! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif I'll concede the old timer part, just NOT an old original like the BC (Before Crash) folks, who were here in the very beginning!

Dorian, IMHO, was not by any means disrespectful nor unkind, just profoundly skeptical!

BTW, Dorian- Star Wars Deluxe version Monopoly is one of my sons favorite - so I play it often too! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif And coincidentally, I also went swimming - no beer though, just a bit of wine (2 glasses CA Chardonnay) with dinner! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Jon - "Dark side" ? Hmmm... and I'd though I was actually leaving the Dark Side! I think meeting face-to-face probably does count, but you'd also have to buy in to the exclusivity thing to be a real clique member - NOT likely! So you will likely never qualify, being the fine, temperate and open minded young man that you are!

Perhaps you, and I, and Dorian and other like minded FT egalitarians worldwide can all be relegated to a kind SUBclique status! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif Nah! Just FT'ers is just fine! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

Eugene - You too have a good point, in that letting it go seems like the best idea! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

We could all be talking miles/points and other FF related issues right now. Much more interesting and fun IMHO!

hedoman Jul 19, 2000 7:45 pm

Frankly, the new posters should be sent to FT school before being allowed to post. I can't wait to see what a FT party looks like.

JayBrian Jul 22, 2000 3:59 pm

As the flyertalk boards become more well known we have to expect more junk posts. I hope we don't sink as low as some of the yahoo boards.

What's all this about creaky old-timers? You young whipper-snappers got no respect!

Now where did I put my teeth?
