My FlyerTalk Anniversary
 

Today is the 1 year anniversary of my first post here, though I'd been lurking for a few months prior.

I can't believe the memories of the past year...it seems like it's been longer that I've known many of you.

From my very first FT meeting, at Dock St. Brewery in PHL with Burkey & Bryan, to my very first Ruth's Chris steak with Catman in NYC, dinner with Catman & RichG in Hoboken, to the incredible fun weekend in SEA, to a mileage run into PHX so I could have dinner with onefreeman & raeban at the official FT restaurant in Scottsdale (Carlsbad Tavern), our PDX dinner 'do' with Punki & Joe, AnnaS, QuantamLeap & Marie, essxjay and a number of others, to dinners with newself, stimpy, PremEx, auh2o, Jailer, Craig6z, Scott the Flier, and especially the PIP http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Thanks to Randy Petersen & his wonderful crew for allowing us to have a forum to meet, talk & socialize about one of our most favorite pastimes...

I look forward to many more FT meetings and dinners with 'friends I haven't met yet'!

Congratulations!! WE have certainly benefited from your contributions this year, and I count myself as one of the fortunate ones to have met you in person not once, but twice!!

My one year must be within a few days of now. Shadow hit it all on the nose, though I've yet to meet any of you. FT is a wonderful place and we owe Randy as well as ourselves for seperating it from the rec.travel.airs of the web. Thanks everyone for all your help and thoughtful words.

Happy Anniversary Shadow (who also has the best day of the Wedding anniversaries: the birthday of a famous Flyertalker!)

dgolds, can't make the FAQ, dammit! While you're all having fun north of the 49th, I'll be in Chicago at a trade show. Guess we'll meet somewhere else along the line.

Shadow, sorry to hear that you will be away from Southern Cal. on July 11th, maybe we can meet some other day.

It is going on a year for me since I first met other FlyerTalkers in Orange County. The FlyerTalk community has enriched my life.

Figures that you'll be in my neck o' the woods (Chicago) while I'm having fun in the Great White (well, not this time of year) North for FAQ. You'll just have to make it back another time with Jackie for some great Chicago sights!
