standby flights

Hey would somebody tell me the deal with standby flights. I need a cheap way to get to and from vegas from Philadelphia and I was wondering what the best way would be. Any help would be appreciated

There are generally no longer any standby fares. The best bet, if you aren't concerned about dates, is to check www.smarterliving.com for weekend specials.

Philly-Vegas is now served by National Airlines. Check them out. Since you are willing to fly standby, why not try priceline.com?

the problem with priceline.com is that you have to give your cc# up front and they charge it if they find something. Restrictins are no cxl and no change, you get what they give you.
