Acting CMDR CATCOP's COMMITTEEE
With the Cat and his posse heading to Hawaii for FUN FUN FUN in THE SUN at the PIP and other places, I need some acting CMDR CATCOPS to keep the boards relative free of OMNI and other stuff.
SO I'm appointing ten people who I trust will get the job done: *Baobab (who is the head of this group!) *Burkey (co-head) *Boomer (co-head) *Tribe Flyer *Geo1004 *essxjay *mweiss *RichG *Quiet Lion and... drum roll... JAWS, who's the comic relief! Wanderlust: you would have made this list but he's off traveling. Ditto philforest and Djlawman. You all can work in consortium to watch the board and make sure everything says nice things about each other, Flyertalkers and the Cat of course. If any of those mentioned above cannot fulfill their duties during their 13 days (more of less) let me know and I'll find an alternate. Hey Catcop...you forget...Flyme2 will be with us over in Hawaii at the Party In Paradise. I don't think he's going to be able to break away from the non-stop partying long enough to act as CatCop.

Since I did not realize that flyme2 is coming to the PIP, guess who's going to co-head the board wtih the Tree, the doctor and the Boomer... So put your whips and chains away now and get to work keeping silly stuff off the boards! Be nice to essxjay or I'll send my cat squad to visit your farm in Houston! And when are we going to get together to share a Shiners or 15? |

Djlawman: you were left off the committee because I knew about your Caymans trip. Nice for you to get away, wish you could have made it to the PIP! And in the very slim possibility that all teh committee members cannot fulfull their duties ... i appoint arturo and hohum to fill their places BUT ONLY IF ALL THE COMMITTEE MEMBERS CANNOT FULFILL THEIR DUTIES! Arturo and ho hum will have to keep in mind that if they end up COMmander Catcops that they MUST NOT LET THE BOARD DEGENERATE INTO SILLINESS AND OTHER INUENDO! I HAVE FRIENDS WATCHING THE BOARD WHO ARE FRIENDS OF THE CATCOP AND THEY'LL LET ME KNWO WHAT'S GOING ON. SO CONGRATULATIONS ACTING COMMANDER CATCOPS, BE WELL AND HAVE FUN WHILE I'M GONE! |
I am indeed honoured to have been included in the committee watching the board, but as Premex noted, I will be in the Aloha state... in my official capacity as federal Mai-tai inspector. It is a dirty job, fraught with peril, but I cannot allow all those errant mis-mixed Mai-tais to fall into the hands of unsuspecting FT'ers. It's a sacrifice I am willing to make for the better good (hic!) of the travelling few.
