Millennium party - a cruise??
 

Anyone interested in a VERY reasonably priced So. Caribbean cruise as a Flyer Talk Millennium party? Have to fly there first!! I have not seen any posting on New Year's Eve. I have been on this ship before and liked it a lot - 800 passengers. Itinerary includes Aruba, Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada, Curacao and BonAire. Leaves Dec 25, arrives Jan 1, depositing a bunch of bleary eyed drunks at the port! $1100, outside cabin, inc tax and air from FL. Compared to everything else I have seen, this is a bargain. No Frq Flyer miles tho!!

We spied that cruise too, Karen2. Tentative plans are to go to Vegas, but if not, we may well do a millennium cruise...

You'll probably spend more in Vegas - and you CAN gamble on board the ship! I have seen some outrageous hotel rates in Vegas for the Millennium. I can't believe none of the FF cruise. I am open to fly in destinations but do not want to pay $500 a night for a room. Our neighborhood in Silicon Valley is going to Hornblower - a floating restaurant in SF Bay. $375 each for the party. Wow! I went for $125/couple once and wouldn't go back!
