No flight details from me as I'll be in Sydney for work either side of the OzFest Weekend and will just stay back Friday-Monday instead of commuting home.
Hotel TBC but most likely Park Hyatt.
Count me in for Friday and Saturday dinners.

Same!
I haven't booked Friday dinner yet, although I'm probably in for that as well...
... which would mean doing Sydney Observatory Sunday evening (the other possiblities are Saturday-only) as I'm not leaving until Monday morning. Pinging the thread again in case anyone else might be interested in this...

Any interest in an astronomy outing? [...]
Randomly Googling around, there seem to be a few possiblities that work for the DO weekend:

Saturday dinner only booked at the moment - not arriving into SYD until 8:40pm Friday and while I can hope for "Flow Forward" being a Friday there are no guarantees of that so I cannot commit to Friday dinner.
I'm going to look at Sunday Watson's bay Ferry and lunch options.

Very interested to come along to this! The dinners sound exciting and sounds like with a fairly well connected location, it'd be great to catch up with others.
With Vivid in town, there's going to be no shortage of activity (if also that means pressure on accommodation will be immense).
Looking at flight options... the cash prices aren't horrible (given the timings), but OMG my last class finishes at 1510h, then to get to the airport and down to SYD in time for a 1900h start on dinner. I'd have to weigh up playing with BNE afternoon traffic and possibly missing the flight, or arriving in SYD with the strong possibility of arriving late to the dinner (I guess being a buffet, no one is really "waiting").
