I arrived last night and surprisingly at check-in (7:15pm) was offered an upgrade by Paris, unfortunately neither suited and I maintained my existing corner room (xx24).
I went to the EL for a quick snack and drink and caught up with Jojen and jojen+1 (they aren’t able to attend Ozfest). When it closed, I looked at options for getting to Surry Hills but surge pricing (cheapest was 1.6x with 20 min wait) and lack of train service as well as buses, I rang Straitman and opted to go to bed early (for me) and just had 9 hours of sleep - something I haven’t had in months.
Meeting up up with a group for breakfast in Glass in 40 mins. Better get a wriggle on.

My thanks to Cilla for her generous offer to take me shopping. It seems that I may have been the only one to take her up on the offer, but my overdoing it the last couple of days has resulted in blistered feet and the need to take a break this morning. So if anyone else planned to join, let Cilla know, otherwise enjoy.

My view last night, not as good as others
Had breakfast this morning with the Straitman’s + , and JessicaTam as well as tuapekastar and met plainsman.
