I booked the Le Meridien Dec 6th-8th and the train rides to / from Nurnberg.

I think, that means I'm a definite yes.

I'm booked at the LM Thu-Sun. Will be headed back to Paris and onward to NYC on Sunday, so no final day activities for me unfortunately.

Booked at the LM Thurs-Sun. Not clear on arrival mode or transport, but I'll be in CPH from the Tues, so at least on the correct continent!

I am now all booked:

I will be arriving on LHR-MUC on Friday on BA952 and departing on BA951 MUC-LHR on Monday. I can guest in LHR, but not sure about the contract lounge in MUC.

I am on ICE 1000/1001 between MUC and NUE.

There is a direct LGW-NUE on BA in December. It doesn't run every day, and the timing is not great. However, you will need to take the S-bahn from MUC airport to MUC station to catch the ICE, which is convoluted.

Standard BA access rules apply. So, essentially as a oneworld Emerald or Sapphire, or as a J ticket holder, you can guest one person.

Flying via LHR allows me to sample the CCR for the first time... And to ride the DB! I am not bothered about getting from MUC to the Hbh.

I guess I can guest 5 in MUC then.

Yes in your shoes it’s a toss up since LHR-LGW is not so easy either. Enjoy the CCR!

Do we have a list of attendees yet?

I have a reservation for the HI for Fri and Sat and I hopefully arrive on Friday.

As much as I wish it wasn't the case, I am afraid I will not be able to continue my record of perfect attendance at the NUE DOs. The dates conflict with a program I have to attend here in Dhaka before I finish my assignment on 19 December and return permanently to Washington, DC.

I'm really going to miss seeing everyone, consuming pork in its various forms (Bangladesh is majority Muslim, so pork is not easily available), and experiencing the fantastic Christmas Markets.

Hopefully I'll be able to make the 7th Franconian DO, when it is scheduled.

hi everyone - time flies too quickly and when someone wasn't mentioning the DO on whatsapp I might have missed it myself ...

I will schedule the activities / restaurants within the next few days.

Friday - I would like to go to the Romantic Christmas market outside of the town (the one that we could not go to last Christmas Do because of winter storm warning) - afterwards Franconian dinner in the country inn at that village.

Saturday - morning and afternoon walking tours / maybe a ride with the Christmas tram and a fine dining Christmas dinner in the evening

Sunday - morning - traditional brunch at the airport.

Stay tuned ...
