Hey, I didn't know this was a thing - lots of familiar names in this thread! Just started traveling again, but I'm feeling out of practice.

Actually, we don’t have dial up connection anymore. That’s from the past. We have DSL at home. We have WiFi on. Everyone who have DSL at home.

20 years today. A lot of good advice over the years, sadly too much commentary (for me) the last two, coinciding with almost no travel = not much posting any more...

Your posts have been valuable. I poured over your Peru trip report and used it for 2 different visits including my final one before lockdown. We finally saw the Nazca lines on that visit. Mesmerizing.

Thank you, FlyerTalkers, for two decades of insightful information and commentary (and, pre-Facebook, social media interaction). After living on the Mainland from 2010 to 2021, I have returned to Saipan (SPN), Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands (the CNMI), U.S.A., so I foresee at least occasional flights in my future.

I still have the QF miles I bought through FT magazine subscriptions, hoping to take my family on the Concorde.

Already 25 years for a couple hundred of us. The 1998 date is artificial and coincides with a redo of the front end of the system.

Just read the OP... I think that's first time on FT I've read/heard about FTers meeting and then tying the knot!
Maybe I'll experience that on 20th FT anniversary!

I can think of 6 couples who met on FlyerTalk and subsequently married. After all, you find folks with aligned interests here.
