ANA Holiday Inn Susukino where many of the Do attendees stayed is located only about 50m from the “original” Ramen Alley of Sapporo, which is well known for beer, “Jingisukan” (or Genghis Khan, grilled mutton dish) and ramen. From what I gathered some people seem to have had up to 10 ramens in 3-4 days! I only had 4 in as many days.

Well I'm off to Seoul to start the trip home. The Royal Lounge at CTS is nothing but royal, and in fact quite poor, aside from the fact that it happens to be mostly empty. Though I've enjoyed watching JDF fighter planes take off from the runway. Don't see that everyday.

Thanks all and see you again on one continent or another!

Yes, we visited the ANA "Royal Lounge" this morning, hoping to get some breakfast, but alas no. Nice lounge, other than there is no food. So those who do not have lounge access, you are not missing anything. To be completely honest, there are some rice balls, small muffins, dried noodles and nuts, but forget about getting any breakfast. OK selection of drinks, including Hokkaido wines, for those interested in a drink in the morning. Unable to connect to their wi-fi network, so I am now posting from the TG domestic lounge in BKK. No problem connecting to the TG lounge wi-fi.

That about sums it up! Though there is instant ramen assuming they have hot water somewhere! I'm curious what the difference between their "airline lounge" side and the "credit card/paid side". I can't imagine how the other side has fewer amenities.

I too gave up on their wifi, thankfully CTS has airport wide wifi that was reasonably fast. ^ My OZ flight wound up with a bus gate unfortunately.

Now in Seoul for the evening about to go hunt some tasty beer! ICN-LAX tomorrow.

Despite a somewhat suspicious 20 minute connection, both myself and my checked bag made it to Kagoshima! It is soooo green here!!

It was great to see everyone again! Thanks to NewbieRunner for all your hard work.

Until next time!!
