Chances of making it have moved from 'highly unlikely' to 'possible'

Time to bump the thread with greetings from Sapporo. I’m here for a couple of days checking out a few places.

Sapporo TV Tower

Ōdōri Park

You thought Sapporo was a brand of beer?

Former Sapporo Court of Appeals (now a museum)

Curb Market

Historical Village of Hokkaido

Sapporo Clock Tower should be back in action by April

Looks neat. I'm trying to figure out flights but I'm having a hell of a time trying to find ANA award space coming back. I'd like to spend a few days in Osaka/Kyoto post-DO and I can't for the life of me find any J/F availability will keep hunting.

Those who went on a day trip to Nagasaki during the FUK Do in 2015 might be interested to know that the “Hidden Christian sites in Nagasaki and Amakusa region” including the Ōura Church have been added to UNESCO’s World Heritage list.

A Belgian beer fest in Sapporo?!
That could change dramatically after Monday's World Cup 2nd stage match between Belgium and...

You can add me to confirmed. I found space on ANA First for ORD-NRT on Wednesday the 17th and then home on Korean Business from KIX-ICN-JFK for Tuesday the 23rd. I figure I'll do a day in Tokyo on my way out and then a couple days in Osaka and Kyoto on my way back. Looking forward to the event.

Thank you for taking the time to head to Sapporo (though- I assume, you were very pleased to reach the 23c in lieu of ~40c in Tokyo area :-) )
I'm exploring the options to arrive to the event-- maybe link it with some work meetings. TBD

Found some pics from a brief trip to CTS en-route to GUM on one of those epic USDM 30K J class awards.

You could actually fly Air-Do to the Hokkai-do! They operate between HND & CTS.

The ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose shuttle bus from airport.

This was a pop concert at the CTS International terminal although it was adults that were gaga about the performance instead of little kids.

The departure board at CTS International Terminal. Note that HA operate a non-stop flight HNL/CTS.

Our room at the ANA Crowne Plaza Chitose.
