Thanks for the map CDKing .
Yes , the Newton MRT station has 2 exits on Scotts Road . For Newton hawker centre , the exit on the side towards Cairnhill Community Club is better .
Toss up for Chui Huay Lim Club , Sheraton Towers / Li Bai side will work too .

I didn't think I was going to be able to make it this year, but as of this morning looks like I'll be joining for Friday and at least through late afternoon on Saturday. I'm still juggling some flights to get home and a hotel, but looking forward to seeing everyone next week!

https://marriottmembersdinemore.com/3xoffer-singapore

Whether you're staying with us or stopping by for a meal, treat yourself to
3X points* for every US$1 you spend on delicious local cuisine.
Simply present the special offer email to your restaurant associate at participating restaurants
from 10 January until 10 February 2019 to enjoy this limited-time offer.
It also says 10% F&B discounts for general/silver members, 15% for gold, 20% for plat.

Participating locations in SIN seem to be at the JW and Mariott Tang Plaza

NOTE: also a few in HKG and BKK for those attending the appropriate pre/post DOs

Regrettably I am a scratching for this year. I have a 90th Birthday Party to attend on the Sunday in Melbourne (Australia. not FL).

Don't worry - not my birthday. I am not that old yet

I knew I should have booked MEL instead of SYD for the NZ mistake

Enjoying the view of the evening ops from the ANC AS BR. Boarding shortly for AS134 for PDX, then onto ORD for the day. Brief stop and airport change NRT-HND, then we'll be in SIN Friday morning. Will be nice to escape the cold and the earthquakes.

I'm hoping this alleged winter storm this weekend makes SQ do a weather waiver. I'd love to stay in SIN longer and possibly book last minute trip to BKK post DO.

I’m in BKK now. If you do book a trip to BKK, make sure to buy some N95 masks. The smog is out of control.

I've been trying to reach Lowjhg the last few days with no luck, so will be populating the rest of the DO schedule within the Wiki over the next 12 hours and will recommend using that as the current source of the DO plans.
