To be honest, it's mere (but lucky) coincidence, but my girlfriend and I are on Okinawa during the Do (March 28-31). We will be staying at the Sheraton Sunmarina Resort and would really love to join you for the main Do dinner on Friday (at least). Do you think you can fit us in?
If anybody on the attendee list in post 3 is not coming to the dinner if would be helpful if they could post in the thread or contact The_Wrath_of_Khan directly so that we know how many to expect. Thanks.

Sure! The more the merrier. It would be great to see you at the dinner. Paging @The_Wrath_of_Khan.

Looks like I'm going to have to downgrade to "Not This Year" - I'm not going to be able to swing the time away as I have other things I can't shake. Will try again next year - hope everyone has a great time!

I might tweak my plans a bit and arrive in OKA Wednesday night vs Thursday afternoon, so that I can do a 5 night award booking at the DT for the 5th night free, since I still don't have a place to stay in Tokyo for Tuesday or Wednesday night.

If anyone is still not convinced here is the wine list of The Bar at Hyatt Regency, Naha.
http://hyattregencynaha.jp/restauran...pdf?1452754940
I can’t find any other drinks menu but according to their Japanese language website:
- Draught beer 1,000 yen
- Cocktail from 1,200 yen
Plus a cover charge of 500 yen. All prices are exclusive of tax (8%) and service (10%).
So if you go there for just one beer it will cost you nearly US $17!
