Thank you. I will now stay well away from the Wikipost. Perhaps someone would be good enough to add my information:

Ok, put me down as Confirmed. Armagebedar, I am bringing you a bottle of Soju! You two can get reacquainted with each other.

FYI for anyone still looking at short flights to get to/from OKA, Peach has a 2 day sale on ... even if you don't get the 600 yen fare, there are deals better than what I bought at last week.

a) list different flights [ie handle+1]
b) have your +1 sign up for FT so they can post themselves

It's really more of a way to see if there are other FTers on your flight ^

Unfortunately we're still waiting on them to announce breaking ground. Costco reps came here, but did not get the warmest reception (unfortunately): Costco reported mulling opening store on Okinawa | Japan Update.

There's a Costco in Taipei, but I think that'll just get you in trouble with your LCC leg beckoa Unless also going home that way?

Edit: I just noticed you aren't. Shall I stop by and take photos for you?

No, I think I plan on paying for one bag on this leg [so I can fit several duffles together in the checked bag, and hit up Costco TPE]
Also want to see TPE 101.

Sad no OKA COST yet, but should have time in OSA to visit

Thanks, just updated the wiki by the first method. I don’t think there will be any others from the DO on our flights though why not? There’s 144-hour transit-without-visa for PVG, people!
BTW I seriously have the memory of a goldfish (or Dory) for names and faces. Other than kirkwoodj and TravelKane which I remember from HKG DO (however I’m not 100% certain I can recognise you guys again, please forgive me), please holler if you’ve met me previously or were around from one of these DOs!
a) PVG DO (Nov 2011)
b) EZE DO VIII (Sep 2012)
c) HKG DO (Nov 2014)
d) BRU DO (Apr 2017)

Well, my Aeroplan account recovered and I now have enough points for another J redemption to Asia (and beyond!) too late for this year, but will certainly be there April 18-21, 2019!

If like last year, you decide on next year’s DO city, at the end of the event, please post as I hope to secure flights as soon as availability opens up for that period. With AC’s exit from Aeroplan in 2020, availability is becoming harder and harder, so want to book as soon as possible. Otherwise I’ll just head to Tokyo and figure it out from there. (Want to make a side trip to Vietnam or Thailand while I’m in the area )

Everyone have fun this year, I’ll watch from afar.

::cue puking noises::

Shall we have a soju vs. awamori contest? I think everyone loses that one...
