I fly out at 4:50pm ... not a lot of extra time, but some.

So does IT or MM have a better departure terminal ex-TPE? IE one with access to a PP lounge?
If my memory serves me correctly they both have equal access to PP lounges. Neither departs a special terminal in Taipei.

subscribed to this thread early and never (yet) was able to make attending work. Looking like a fun gathering, though - I am jealous of you all that are attending! I feel confident that TWoK will make excellent selections. Have fun, everyone!

Thanks.

Still hoping some miracle KA space opens up ex-HKG; if not I get to see TPE

As of tonight I've booked my flights to and from the island. kirkwoodj looks like you and I are on the same inbound from HND though I trust you're in J while I'm back in cattle

PS: the HND-OKA-HND r/t on ANA costs 16k Etihad miles + $5.60 USD

Edit: if anybody is looking for non-hotel accommodations there are still lots of decent looking Airbnb apartments available. I'm keeping my options open, but with no exec lounge I see little reason to wed myself to the DT.

By sheer fluke FlyingBrief and I will be in Naha from march 29th to April 2nd all the way from Cheltenham UK staying at the Hyatt.

We cannot really commit to anything at this stage however as we are travelling with friends to meet friends and it would be a little rude to abandon ship ; but we might have a bit of free time to say hello; so can you keep in touch with me?

Flights;

LHR HEL 22nd Mar
HEL HKG via DOH 22nd Mar
HKG OKA 29 Mar
OKA HND 2nd Apr
NRT HEL via DOH 2nd Apr
HEL LHR 4th Apr

Great! Just keep an eye on this thread for updates, and let us know what you might join us for. Some meals are pre-paid group things, all will be in wiki and/or first page of thread when sorted out.

OK, it is all my fault. I was trying to add my flight information to the Wikipost and somehow all the posts got deleted. Sorry. Is someone with greater computer skills than me able to resurrect this information.

I would really like to have that option myself but from experience it seem to me that non-smoking hasn’t caught on in many places yet. Like I said earlier though, it’s usually not overwhelming, and if we get our own room then we can close the door and it won’t affect us.
