arollins+1 and I are going to NW Indiana for beer and some good food. I've been there several times and the food has been excellent each time, they have someone running the food side who knows what they are doing.

Location: I-80/94 Exit 3, SE frontage road. For city dwellers without an inclination to drive, the South Shore leaves at 10:45 and gets to East Chicago Station at 11:34, which is a 4 mile Uber ride from there.

I've never ridden the South Shore line, it doesn't look like this is part of Metra, correct? Edited to add: just found verbiage that the Metra Weekend pass does not apply to South Shore

confirming I won't be attending, have a tenant moving out so have to get confirmed renter in this weekend for occupancy Sept 1. Can you say roadtrip to Cincinnati?? (I loathe I-65)
