(BTW, was doing a little cleaning and just found my old hotel folio from the last NUE DO! Apparently I stayed at the Sheraton. Not that I spent too much time there anyway, but seem to recall that it was only a few blocks away from the main train station. Didn't leave too much of an impression on me, so guessing I had a run-of-the-mill room/experience there.)

Add me to the interested list. Like lili and NewbieRunner, I'd like to keep my 100% attendance record.
I'd also like to make it to Oz Fest in 2018, so I'm going to start working on a RTW award ticket that'll let me do both.

I nearly clicked 'Like'. It would be great for us to keep the attendance record. ^ People (who will remain nameless...) using Oz Fest as an excuse for not coming to Franconian Do 2018 should be ashamed.

Found some AA award space via BCN plus Vueling to get to NUE. So move me from interested to confirmed! Looking forward to events and meeting everyone.
Thanks for all the hotel listings, would appreciate suggestion on best hotel and best location. Chain not important, I'll just use Prestige fourth night free. I want (and will pay for) best bed, best room. Thanks!

The most central hotel is the Le Meridien. You just cross the street and are at the main meeting spot for all activities. But other hotels around the main station are good as well - you have everything from a cheap B&O hotel, Motel one, Holiday Inn Express up to a Sheraton within 5 minutes walking distance from the main meeting point.
