Just hanging out at BNE airport. Flight was early my seat was 2 rows from the plane door, i have smart gate access and no checked bag, Sooooo i made it from plane to outside in under 5-10 min from door opening . Hanging out enjoying the cool weather as I wait an hour for my shuttle. I guess I should have booked airport hotel instead, that third party shuttle was here right away and tomorrows greyhound bus comes back here anyways too bad its too late to cancel hotel and rebook the bus for tomorrow.

Those in town, what do we want to do today? I was thinking about going and walking around Noosa National Park for a bit, since I presume beer drinking establishments are mostly an after 12pm thing.

Good morning and welcome to Oz Fest #15 .
Drinks in Brisbane last night were pretty good and with the revelation that ozflygirl747 will be joining us for most things.
We'll see people around and about today and then 38 people for dinner tonight.
Tomorrow morning will be difficult with a bunch roads closed for the Noosa Marathon. For that reason the following has been put in place.
For the pick ups for Saturday and the Marathon Road Closures look like they will be blocking up most of main area of Noosa. I think its best to set the pick up time for 9:00 am and we will aim to have our vans pick you up sometime between 9 and 9:30 am (dependent on road conditions/traffic). The road closures will only allow us to pick up from the RACV and Macquarie Lodge accommodation locations.
We will get a van to each of these locations for pick up. Please ask the group to split up into the following 10 person per groups (or work it out between you all and have 10 at each location for pick up time.
Suggested groups are:
RACV Pick up = 6 staying at RACV already: JohnSydney2000, Fredd, Mrs Fredd, doug_westcott, RestlessinRNO (2) + 3 guests staying at Noosa Hill AirBnB: CDKing, Perk, jswong + 1 at unknown location: krazykanuck.
Macquarie Lodge Pick up = 4 staying at Macq Lodge already: itsalongwaydown, Sue Oz, JessicaTam, storyteller + 4 guests staying at Sofitel: upup&away, kirkwoodj, nomadic.rekief, ac777 + 1 guest at Hotel Laguna: Austin787 + 1 guest at Noosa Parade HI: angra.
If you swap groups please make sure that we are aware of what's happening.
