CHICAGO - Flyertalk Filipino (& American) Breakfast - Sun Oct 30
Uncle Mike's Place serves both traditional American breakfast but they are also known for their Filipino breakfast, eggs with garlic rice, served with a side of either slices of Tocino (anise & annato cured pork shoulder) or Longaniza (Filipino sweet sausage). DELICIOUS!

This is great hangover food, just sayin....

I like the idea, I'll try, but I'd have to wake up about 5:30 (on a Sunday!?!) to make it. Remember, I have to feed the chickens before I head out on the road...

Sunday morning I could probably leave at 7:30... still, takes time to get up, drink coffee, feed the chickens and clean their coop, and the other morning chores.

Here's how they greet me Sunday mornings, demanding little flock...
