Once again, I'm in! I was thinking way too long whether to join this year - some changing circumstances in my life - and finally decided to jump in. It's a truly joyful event, and I'm not yet ready to miss it :)

Someone else mentioned that they were on a list (or willing to be) of back up Santas in case someone didn't get a present. As a first timer, and I excluded from offering to do this as well? I have an extra little something set aside just in case, but wasn't sure about the rules for that.

As I don't want to complicate things for wharvey at the very last minute, I just thought I'd throw one more potential gift idea for me on here in case a Santa reads it - I *just* broke my can opener, so I am now in need of a new can opener (preferably without a stupid plastic handle for the turny bit!). :D

Signups for Secret Santa are now closed.... I will be working over the next few days to get all assignments done and out to you...

Please be patient with me; I am balancing this with getting ready for the hubby's Dad visit from Bogota Colombia this week. He wants all the Christmas décor up before he arrives... oh vey!

Finally, as always, I hope that everyone follows through on their commitments and that there will be no need for extra Santas... but I appreciate those willing to help!

Well... they never celebrated Thanksgiving in Colombia! :)

I am happy to report that all Santa assignments have been sent to the participants!

Please check your private messages for your assignment(s). Do let me know ASAP if there is a problem with any assignments or if you did not receive the number of assignments detailed in post #2.

If all is correct, start shopping. Please do not wait until the last second to start on this project.

Do message me when you SEND and RECEIVE gifts... and detail who you sent to and what was in the package.

I also ask that you take the time to post in this thread what you received so your gifter can see that you received the gift. Photos are also welcome!

If anyone wants additional assignments or wants to sign up, feel free to send me a message.

If I get enough participants, I will do a second round of assignments in December.

For first time participants, you can only get a second or more assignment if I have confirmation that your original Santa received their first gift from you!

Woohoo! Assignments received! I have already started with my homework on my Santees and will be doing some shopping this week. International shipping takes its time :)

Received my assignment, and already have 80% of their package put together. Apparently we enjoy similar things so I knew exactly how to get my hands on some nifty gift ideas that popped up after reading the tell me about yourself section. Hopefully everything can come together (waiting on UPS) before the December round opens so that I might be able to do this one last time!

This is terrific fun! Got my assignment and am enjoying the feeling of anonymity as I brainstorm ideas for my Santee. I certainly don't want my Santee to be disappointed with any gifts so I'm giving this some purposeful thought.
