Please remember to PM wharvey both when you ship your gifts (with contents and tracking for each recipient) and when you receive your gifts (with contents and a name for your santa if possible)!

Posting photos:
Alternatively: Upload your image to somewhere on the internet (a list can be found in the wiki here, and I also can recommend imgur). Once the image is uploaded, right click on the image (control-click or click with two fingers for those of you with macs), click on "copy image URL". Then in your post in this thread, paste the image URL that you previously copied between two image tags, so the result looks like:
[img]your URL here[/img]

There is no "gifts sent" part this time around-PM your sent gifts to wharvey! (though feel free to post it in the thread)

Gifts Received
Please please please PM wharvey when you have received/opened your gifts!
Include pictures if you can-and please only link to posts once you have unwrapped your gifts!

the one thing I will say about this is I never realize all the stupid regulations about shipping to Canada. I had to try 4 different items before I could find anything that would ship to my neighbor to the north.

Remain secret or reveal...

What are most people planning to do? Reveal themselves as part of the gift, or truely stay a secret Santa? Is there a preferred approach?

It's a coin toss. Some like to stay unknown, while others will out themselves.
You do whatever feels right for you 380fanatic.

I haven't participated the past 2 years; but when I did, I always let my giftee know where their gift came from.

Apparently, UPS forgot a package for me, from Amazon, at their destination facility today... I'm guessing it was a gift from a Santa. Perhaps they think I've been naughty this year?

Thank you Santa!

I got this gorgeous set of LUXE city guides yesterday from my first Secret Santa (revealed as extramileage in the lovely card):

Thank you so much!! It's really going to get me started on my 2016 trip planning, and hopefully make Brazil (Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro), Italy (Florence, Rome) and/or Dubai a reality next year!

Mail arrived today from Singapore! It was delivered to my desk, so I have not had a chance to open it yet. Will do so later in the afternoon.

Is It That Time? The Official 2015 Secret Santa Announcement!

I haven't posted my items yet to my 3. I'm a little late than normal this year! Still waiting for one thing to arrive which I should get tomorrow.

Keep the pics coming everyone!

so I got:
- A very nice model airplane, SQ Boeing 777-300
- A USB charger that can hold at least 2 full charges for my new Xperia z5
- A wonderful magnet with pictures from different Singapore attractions.

To my Secret Santa: Thanks a lot!!! It would be nice to know who you are, so please send me a pm if you are willing to do so.

Pictures to follow.

HEAD SANTA reminders:

1. You need to message me on details on what you ship and receive.... even if you post in this thread.

2. If you want to join in or get an additional Santa, let me know asap... I will do one more final assignment this weekend.

Just received my first gift! Amazon Gift Card! I'd hate to make my santa feel bad because it was very nice of them to give me freedom to choose what to buy, and they obviously had good intentions, but I feel it's important to note that SS has a lot more potential than a bunch of people just trading $50 with each other. Take a risk and buy your giftee something they might love and would have never bought for themselves! Be creative!

Thank you, Santa, aka DevilDawg1960, for the giant box of goodies from Amazon! The pups (all 3 of them*), about mauled me to get into the box and get to the 2lb. bag of treats! I'm curious to know how you knew that The War That Ended Peace: The Road To 1914 is perfect for both Mr. Kipper and for me? We both are very interested in learning more about WWI. I can't wait to enjoy Firearms: An Illustrated History too! I also greatly appreciate the Penguins and Pirates stadium seat ornaments (they are so neat--complete with drink cups in the cup holders!), and I also appreciate the noticeable lack of a Steelers one, since I'm boycotting them while Vick is on the team!

Most importantly, I treasure your kind words about rescue work.

* Yes, we have 3 dogs again... Long story short, about a month after he passed, Mauser sent us another senior dog to love... Schultz, a 9-year-old German Shepherd mix. To save everyone from reading, the long story is in white below, if you are interested...

When Mauser was at the Manhattan shelter, he was named Jackson. We changed his name to Mauser, because he didn't answer to Jackson. Mauser passed away on 10/3, and the house was too quiet. On 11/7, I was scrolling through Facebook posts, and saw a post for a 9-year-old German Shepherd mix, surrendered to the Staten Island shelter due to allergies. His name? Jackson! A week later, he came home.
