Another plus about Elburn is Ream's Elburn Meat Market, a terrific butcher shop that has won over 200 awards. So bring your cooler to take some items home, I know I'll bring my large sized cooler!

Believe it or not, I think I'm in! I couldn't drive all the way to Elburn for a weeknight do, but I could for a Sunday pub lunch. I don't know any places to eat out that way so I'm up for any one you choose. And I'd love to bring home some stuff from the Elburn Meat Market.

I'm likely out for a weekend lunch. A weekday dinner would likely be different story though.

I wanted to allow west burb folks who have trouble making a weekday dinner a shot at coming out to a FT dining Do.

By the way the Metra UP West Line stops there for those who do not wish to drive. We may be able to arrange for pickups! :p

Great idea re: Metra train, I'll be driving but if anyone needs a ride to/from the Elburn train station, just let us know.

A train arrives into Elburn just after noon at 12:06PM, so I'll plan the lunch for shortly after that just in case there are some taking the train.

I'm a probably not even though it sounds fun.
