It has been strongly suggested by Tony Packo's that we get to the restaurant by 4:45 to make sure we can get the larger seating capacity we require.

I've updated post #1.

See y'all Saturday!

Will be dropping off some people at DTW in the afternoon. May be a little late for Tony Packos.

Early afternoon I plan to visit the National Museum of the Great Lakes. http://www.inlandseas.org/museum/

Then meander over towards Tony Packo's in the late afternoon.
Good choice visiting the Great Lakes museum. I live about a half mile from there. Figure about 90 minutes to see most of it. I am going to the Central Catholic-Cleveland Bendictine game which will be on ESPNU for the first half and may be a bit late for Packo's. I can catch the second half on Packo's TV.

SweetWillie Does it Again!

A group of FlyerTalkers convened in Toledo last night to talk shop and attend aToledo Mud Hens baseball game. Attendees included our fearless leader SweetWillie and his nephew, BobBell, darby1970, goodeats21, mhnadel, Lurch, jamesteroh and Bikeguy among others.

After dining on Hungarian Hot Dogs, Chili Mac and buckets of beer at Tony Packo's we walked across the street to Fifth Third field for the Hens game. Rain threatened to delay/cancel the game but after a short wait it let up and the umpire called out PLAY BALL!

The Hens knocked in a run in the bottom of the ninth to win the game and send us all home happy!

It was a great time with great people. I hope to do it again real soon...

Great! I've even identified a couple of not very far away "attractions," e.g. the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Center.
