glad to finish my part in my first FT SS . I might do this again next year. I sent my gift out on Friday and it should arrive soon (if not today). Can someone update the wiki for me?

Thanks!

Interesting.... people are posting here but NOT sending me messages as requested. Again, as I have said before, I am not checking this thread to confirm shipping/receipt of gifts... until I get a private message from you... you do not get off the naughty list onto my good spreadsheet list.

Dear Santas,

I apologize for yet another private message to many of you.

I am getting very concerned over the number of people who have gone "quiet" and not provided updates. We are nine days from Christmas and each of you who signed up committed to send your gifts to arrive no later than December 25th.

As of 30 minutes ago, 46 of you still had outstanding commitments accounting for 89 gifts. Many require international shipping.

I know some can just be due to people not letting me know they shipped... and the fact that some people wait until the last second... but that is a high percentage this late in the season.

I truly do not want to have to be hunting down gifts and trying to close loops and placate disappointed people. Please help me by completing your commitments quickly or at least letting me know when you plan to ship.

I returned home last night to boxes from both of my secret santas! I opened them this morning before work, so if I've forgotten to note anything, I apologize.

Box from SS#1 contained all sorts of kitchen gadgetry from my Amazon wish list that I'd been wanting for quite a while. A Potato Ricer, flexible cutting boards, kitchen shears, some pyrex bowls, and a SPAM SLICER! Now my musubi's will be perfectly even

Boxes from SS#2 included a marble cheese board, wine aerator, a garlic roaster (my husband helped me open it and said "I think its an ashtray" ... LOL) and all sorts of tea goodies - a teapot, insulated teacups, and boxes of tea.

THANK YOU to both of my Secret Santas. It had been a rough week away (caring for my Father in law who just had a quadruple bypass) and being welcomed home by your gifts was extra special.

Received my first Secret Santa package today from a very thoughtful (and still anonymous) Santa:

A bottle of 2012 Betz La Serenne Syrah and a box of Pike's Place Market smoked salmon. It brought back many great memories of living in Seattle.

Thanks!!!

Received my second SS gift today which was shipped from NJ. Not sure who my SS is but they sent a hTC EVO 3D phone so that I can take 3D photos on my trips. Also sent an INDUSTRY magazine which provides interesting articles and a lot of information about New Jersey. Thank you very much SS!!!

Chief Santa PSA: As in years past, I forward any positive and negative feedback onto your Santas. No change to that process I have done since Year One!

Gourmet Treats from Niagara

I picked up my first Secret Santa gift yesterday from the post office.

Enclosed was a gourmet gift basket from the Niagara region of Ontario packed full of wine jellies, different sauces, and lots other of yummy treats, along with a Christmas card.

Many thanks for the lovely gift, and I am already having fun working my way through all the treats!

Will try to post a photo tomorrow.

Secret Santa from Vermont

Never fear, tonetone28, your package not only made it through Canadian Customs, but was waiting for me tonight when I got home!

Enclosed was some lovely hand painted baby alpaca yarn and some chocolates. I will have a lot of fun planning a project for the yarn, and I also now have another yarn store I need to check out the next time I head down to Vermont!

A lovely, much appreciated gift from my FlyerTalk neighbour just to the south. And thanks for the card!

I will try to post a photo tomorrow.

Here at the North Pole, the Elves like to take a nip every so often.
Besides toys and gifts, we minor in wine. Whoever got you that bottle knows what they're doing. Your SS really stepped up.

If you want to attend WineDo in NYC June 2015, consider yourself invited.
