Believe it or not, HeadElf53 is at the annual new toy meeting this week in LAS, I kid you not. The people Santa has under contract take their job very seriously. Santa has me talking to over 25 manufacturers (existing and new).

Speaking of toys, please allow me this editorial comment.
Please take the time to buy a new toy for children in need, and I'm not talking Toys For Tots. I love the US Marine Corp, but they don't vet the people that come in. I would strongly suggest bringing your toy to a local shelter. Those kids don't have anything, or very few toys to play with. The feeling of satisfaction you'll get from donating is second to none. Trust me. I know.

Just picked up a car load of boxes from the post office & the airport. One of which wasn't on my list of expected items... I lasted about 30 seconds before running out and bringing it into the office to open.
Was a bit confused at first, as the contents was hidden by branches. However a quick rummage revealed lots of chocolate, what google translate tells me is a cake mix (oven is already preheating in the kitchen), and two tubs of moutarde de benichon which I've never tried before so I'm very excited to try it when I get a chance. Also a little wooden tree, which I'm contemplating putting a spare set of battery LED christmas lights on.

Thanks Artemio, I'll have to be rolled out of the office come 5pm

OK... Chief Santa is starting to get worried... He has waaaaay too many blank spots in his spreadsheet.
I sent private messages out on Saturday to all that have not notified me they had shipped yet... and today I sent emails to those who had not responded to the PMs.
Please make Chief Santa's Christmas by fulfilling your commitments... that can be your gift to me since I do not participate in Secret Santa. I would love to have ONE year where I am not still dealing with delinquent commitments into the spring!
PLEASE!

Thank you to my Secret Santa from Northern California (miko2a)! What a delightful box of goodies arrived on my front door step this morning! Lots of goodies to eat (some of which will be hidden away from the DH) - Redwood Coffee - Humboldt chocolate bar and toffee popcorn munchies - a lovely box of LUSH - AND a great packable Eagle Creek Duffle! I can now leave the heavy one at home!

And to make everyone a little happy.... some treats for Goldie. As soon as she got the 'OK' signal, she snatched it and ran! She gives you a big 'Paws Up' for her treats. (although Mom was trying to keep her Gingerbread treat lol)

I'm going to post this again because I think it really is the easiest way to upload pictures to a FlyerTalk thread....and some newer people may not know this option exists.
Have two tabs open... one to the thread and one to open My FlyerTalk.
Go to 'My FlyerTalk" - on the left side of the page under Networking is a link for Pictures and Albums. Click that.
Then click Add Album and Title it.
Click on 'Click Here to Upload Pictures' (I resize pictures to 600 mgpixels first)
Upload your picture.
Then, in your album choose the picture you want to share.
Underneath the picture you will see 'Picture URL'
Copy the URL
On the thread page, choose Reply to Thread
Choose the little icon at the top that is yellow with mountains (Insert Image)
Paste the picture URL
Type any comments you would like to add to the post.
Post.
Voila! Your picture is posted.

I don't know which is worse...having to wait until I'm in California end of next week to get mine or that I sent mine out a few weeks ago and want the recipients to post it and see what they thought!
