I received an airdrop from Secret Santa, Montana branch. It weighed 19lbs. Man, it would either be a lot of lumps of coal or something cool
The package contained 5 items:
1) Fly box for flyfishing
2) The Bozeman angler beer glass
3) Six-pack of Bozone Select Amber Ale - Bozeman Brewing Company, MT
4) Six-pack of Moose Drool Brown Ale - Big Sky Brewing Company, MT
5) Six-pack of Organic Beer Number 1 (OB-1) Certified Organic Brown Ale - Snake River Brewing Company & Brewpub, WY
To give some context I mentioned that a) I like fishing and b) I have a goal of trying a beer from each state and I'm still missing Montana and Wyoming beers.
---
I already found several items for my Secret Santa victim. Just need to fly to Scandinavia to pick up a final piece. Hehe

Ok kipper, I gave in to package #1 after holding out for 7 days
(I also feel less guilty about it since I've shipped everything on my end
)
I opened the package to find...

a UA club pass, useful as I am only a lowly silver (in economy), so no inherent lounge access without one (and given that I have a trip to Australia on UA coming up in Y, this will make it a little less painful
)
Noise cancelling headphones-thank goodness I opened this one, as I was in the market for a new pair
Fodor's guide to AZ and the grand canyon-a future destination that my parents have been trying to arrange a family vacation to for years :P
...and a mysterious little box...

...containing a bunch of magic morsels! (I believe a 24-pack) I'd never heard of them before, so naturally I had to try one (or maybe more...), and they are UNBELIEVABLE. I almost have to give the box to my roommate to keep from eating all of them...except that he would eat them all too :P
Thanks so much SJLandsverk! What a great start to my first FT SS! Now about those other two packages sitting on the floor...

I must've been a very good girl... I received a package in the mail today*, and I found out that there is a box waiting for me at my parents' house! If that Santa doesn't want me to open the box they sent to my alternate address (my parents' house), please find a way to let me know, and I'll ask them to hide it while we are there for Thanksgiving.
The box I received in the mail today contained two, specially-designed IPA glasses, with a note indicating that I should enjoy my IPA's! Thank you, Santa!!! We'll be using those tonight for our beer with dinner.
*The mail person placed the box on the driver's seat of our "spare" car, so had I not parked where I did, I'd not have noticed the box for a day or two at a minimum.

Gift 2 lasted a whole 8 days before I opened it

I did a quick scan, and so far I'm only 1/50
gotta work on getting to more epic skiing destinations. Unfortunately I'll have to hold off to most of these destinations for the time being since I'm a poor graduate student
There was a second box too!

Ahh...the good ole days
Funny enough I don't think I've ever been on a NW A320-just the SF3s and 744s (I know, a little odd
)

Taking its proper place
Thank you rxfleming for the book and the model!

Already picked up part of my gift that I am giving while I was in Europe - It's starting to come together. I'm going to hold off on sending it until at least December as some of you can't seem to wait
Are you the same kids that snuck in to mom and dad's closets searching for gits???

If you got your gifts open them up and post/share with us! Stop holding out!
I will HAVE to wait until about 12/20 when I arrive in California at my folks' house since I asked for them to be sent there since I'll be in South Africa Thanksgiving til then.

Many thanks to my anonymous Secret Santa, who sent a really cool book called "A Week at the Airport" and a HUGE scratch-off world map! Harder to scratch off than I thought, but has become a family activity

Mauser says thank you again to my Secret Santa, as while we were out, he found the little baggie of the treats I took when we were headed to Petco, and he devoured them. I'd set them on the table, and he managed to pull them off of the table and chewed through the plastic bag! I think he likes them!
