Remember to PM wharvey when you ship your gifts out (including contents and tracking numbers) and when you receive presents (including contents)!
This wikipost is not a completely authoritative resource of Secret Santa progress, but a resource to see what everyone has received
Don't forget to include pictures if you can!

Alternatively: To include pictures in your posts, upload your picture to somewhere on the internet (a list of sites can be found in the wiki here). Then, use the image tags to post the picture, making sure to use the URL of the picture itself instead of the webpage ([IMG]the URL of the picture[/IMG], making sure that the URL contains the .JPG/.PNG/.GIF/whatever).

Thanks to Santa with initials A.A.

Big box from Amazon on the porch today. Didn't think I was due for anything from them, but started to open it. Realized before it was clear open that this might be from Santa!

Turned box over to obnoxious teenager to stow away until Christmas. Santa has given him a gift, too: something to tease Mom with for the next two months. He did give me Santa's initials, so Wharvey can cross one more Good Santa off his list as having followed through with the gift.

Will post photos 12/26 - if I can hold out that long!

Thanks, Santa!

Tricky, tricky..... you sound like the Sorting Hat when it was placed on Harry Potter's head the first time!

Secret Santa gift received from Philfna!

Some very nice Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones.

Thanks Phil!

I'd put picture, but don't know how to insert without a URL

BTW- I can take a few more assignments (but no Santa icon? )

Thanks for the five assignments! Shopping has already started

For those who got me, I also posted on the main intro thread with a little bit more about me if you need more hints, and wouldn't be offended if you (or a neutral party) PMed me questions because my description wasn't good enough. Then again, using your imagination for surprises is always welcomed, too

FYI, for those of us shipping international, Borderfree is a company that has partnered with a lot of major online stores to offer international shipping that has all duties and taxes prepaid so the gift recipient doesn't owe anything. Shipping was only a few dollars more than what USPS or FedEx would have been but way more convenient. Check out their website to see who they partner with.

For international shippers I'd like to warn about customs.

If you get a $50 gift and send it to me directly from Amazon, I will have to pay 20-30 dollars of customs fees.
If you get a $50 gift sent to your home, put into new box, add a christmas card and send it as private person, I will get the package delivered directly to me without fees, and will be very happy

I'm going to investigate the customs rules for all countries I am sending to so that I don't surprise my giftee badly. And extra bonus of having no invoices in the package is also nice.

J.

What I did:
simply log-in with the Amazon credentials from whichever country and order via the countries Amazon store I wish to ship to. I even got free Prime for some shipments within the US.
