logistical question
Someone posed this question, and after initially pooh-poohing it
I reflected and thought, h'm, maybe this is a concern after all.
I'm taking the bus from and back to Munich and didn't think
anything of it, but with this refugee crisis and recent border
closures, is there potential risk in this plan?
Not expecting anyone to have a crystal ball, but just asking
if there are feelings - informed or uninformed, both are
welcome - about this.

Count me in for all events. Slightly worried about rail options as I fly into and out of Munich, so hopefully things look better by the start of next week when I arrive. Salzburg-Munich service was suspended today per Reuters.
Rail traffic between Germany and Salzburg was halted in both directions on orders of the German authorities, a spokeswoman for the Austrian rail operator OeBB said, adding that no details on the reason for the closure were immediately available.

Please count my husband and me in for all events. Flight info posted above. We will be staying at the Ibis.
I can PM you our mobile phone info, if you like.
Many thanks for organizing this. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

Glad to have you back, szg!
Please count me in for Friday dinner, the Saturday sightseeing tour, Saturday dinner, and Sunday brunch.
I'm not sure about the Swarovski Factory tour. If it's okay, I 'll let you know at Friday dinner.

Please include me for the Friday and Saturday events at least;
as I am not a breakfast person, I am on the fence regarding
brunch - is it possible we could have a pub crawl or something
like that afterward?
Thanks also for the reassurance regarding border crossings -
I have a bus that is supposed to arrive at MUC at 0840 for
a flight at 1225 - that seems to be enough cushion, but I
may make a backup reservation just in case.
It will be a pleasure to see you again and to meet +0.5
and +0.75!

I'm sure there will be photos. Shame it's so cumbersome to post photos on FT. Posting on FB is so much easier.

Just as an update for everybody arriving on train or bus services:
There are no border closures at the moment. OEBB rail services are running normally exept between Salzburg and Germany. Connections from Salzburg to Innsbruck ("corridor trains") are back on a normal schedule albeit being sometimes a little bit late. There are no problems between Munich and Innsbruck and usually no or little waiting times at the border in Kufstein at the moment.
This may change at any time but at the moment everything looks pretty quiet. For updated train service information, check http://www.oebb.at/en/index.jsp.
