I'll be at Queen Victoria Markets 11-ish if anyone's in the neighbourhood.

Any update on these plans?

Is there a dinner time in mind?

Oh hey, we're staying in CBD for dinner. Meeting at 6:45 tonight. Going where? I don't know.

Enjoy the evening, wherever you end up. On the road to recovery but still erring on the side of caution. Thanks to all for your concern. Returning to CHC tomorrow morning after a wonderful Ozfest and good times spent with FT friends.

tom911 and I ended up at Biriyani House on King St. The place was steady busy, packed with Indians(?). Well, let me just say Tom was the only non-ethnic in the place the entire 2 hrs we were there. He spent 12 bucks on a lamb curry, naan, a samosa and a drink. And I spent 22 on 2 veg dishes, saffron rice and a drink. http://www.biryanihouse.com/menu.html

Have checked our committments and the only time we have free is for a quickish lunch Thursday.

Boxo, how does that suit you?

I was thinking Phillipa's. http://www.phillippas.com.au/our-stores/city/

Apologies for not posting sooner. I've been in the 'burbs all day/evening without 'net access.

Tomorrow, I have a city walking tour scheduled from Federation Square 9:30 am. Let me know what time you're available to meet and I'll (happily) cut out of the tour and head to Phillipa's.

Mr Falconea now can't make it and my work is busy as well so I'm not sure it's worth you cutting your tour. Are you back in Melbourne later?

We missed you. Hope you're feeling better by now. See you (and hopefully many of the others who follow this thread) in N.Z.!

Thank you! They were, though not entirely without incident: a medical diversion on the LAX-MSP leg. Fortunately, I was just a bystander.

Thanks to everyone for two delightful dinners (before and after)! They made the difference between hanging out waiting for the next flight and extending OzFest to nearly a week.

Thanks to everyone who was able to meet up around OzFest weekend.

For me personally, I had a change in plans and having people to dine with in the evenings sure made things better. ^
