I'm in, as is Mrs. PV_, however we will probably not participate in all the events -- pick and choose after they are announced. We'll be staying either at the BW Victorian Inn on Foam St, a to be decided B&B in Pacific Grove, or a private house in Pebble Beach...will update later.

Due to scheduling issues I'm unable to attend this time, hope for next year.

Heard about this from one of the FlyerTalkers I met up here in NYC.

Would def be interested!

May I see a show of hands who would be interested in going to the Monterey Bay Aquarium?

Sorry you won't make it this year. Haven't seen you in ages.

That's something everyone in my party would enjoy ^

I would definitely agree. And the behind-the-scenes tours, such as the Jellies Tour, though pricey, are worth it.

The aquarium is a little pricy but I'd be interested in going with my fellow FTers...mainly so I can make "there's something fishy about this " jokes all day :D

I would say "maybe" for us and the aquarium. We've been a number of times but not for a couple of years so it might be interesting to go again. However, on the weekends it can be very chaotic there...

I was a member up until recently so I've been a lot, but I'd be game to go again. Apparently the Tentacles temporary exhibition is pretty great.

Since I live here, I guess I'm in...

Anybody interested in Golf? Let's get a foursome or two together.

Nothing really special about the Jet Center other than the volume for such a small airport. Although they do host a great party on Thursday during Concours week in August. Private Jets and expensive sports cars... a great pairing.

Late October is a great time of the year to visit the peninsula, great weather and very few tourista. Look forward to having some FTer's in our humble village.

Welcome to the Official Monterey DO Two!

List of attendees: Post #2
Schedule of events: Post #3

Last time, in 2012, we had 17 in attendance. Good times. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/commu...28-2012-a.html

This year I hope to include a tour of our little airport MRY, possibly its neighbors the Monterey Jet Center and Del Monte Aviation, the National Steinbeck Center in Salinas, lunch in Big Sur to name a few ideas. September and October are traditionally our best weather months with temps in the sunny 70Fs.

C'mon, how about it?
